    Course Overview

    This course is based at our Ipswich campus.

    This study programme provides an exciting introduction to the subject of Music Technology and offers grounding in many of the key areas:

    • Audio Production and Composition
    • Live Studio Recording
    • DJ Techniques & Music Industry
    • Remixing & Podcasting

    There are regular trips to local recording studios, clubs & venues, and music production exhibitions, all of which are supported by visits from guest speakers and professionals.

    This course is taught alongside the Level 2 Music Performance course.

    It is a dynamic and interesting study programme that is suitable for you if you have little or no experience of Music Technology but lots of enthusiasm.

    There are NO EXAMS on this course – all of the assessment is through coursework.

    All students who have not achieved a grade 4 (C) or above in GCSE English or maths will need to study these subjects alongside their chosen qualification.
