Course overview

Join our level 4 programme to set yourself up as a freelancer heading into the industry. Throughout this course, you will cover 3 main units that are all coursework-based.

The Creative Entrepreneur – here you will find your place within the market – you will look at business models, funding/budgeting, social media and marketing.

The Creative Practitioner – alongside the unit developing your theoretical and business knowledge, you will also build your creative portfolio. Here you will have the opportunity to make work, research building connections and network with other creative professionals.

The Creative Enterprise – in your final unit, you will focus on writing your business plan, branding and marketing, budgets, and creating a portfolio. This will then be presented and evaluated.

This course will appeal to those in any creative field be it media, marketing, art, photography, gaming, visual arts etc. The course will allow you to understand the principles of being a professional creative and give you the stepping stone to your next creative adventure.
