Join us for our exciting and dynamic Level 4 Creative Enterprise course!
This course is designed to prepare you for a career as a freelancer in the creative industry. It offers a broad, practical overview of the aspects you’d need to consider when building your business. All tutors on the course are freelancers and lecturers, meaning everything we teach is from experience. This course is open to any learners over 18, including adults.
Since the course began, we have supported videographers, florists, photographers, game designers, animators, social media managers, content producers, vocalists, fashion designers, and more to launch their own businesses.
Throughout the course, you will gain valuable industry experience, participate in 1:1 sessions with industry professionals, and leave with a fully developed business plan, marketing strategy, online presence, and creative portfolio. The course is entirely coursework-based and is structured around three main units:
- The Creative Entrepreneur – Identify and explore your place within the market. Learn about business models, funding and budgeting, social media and marketing strategies.
- The Creative Practitioner – Alongside developing your theoretical and business knowledge, you will also build your creative portfolio. Here you will have the opportunity to create work, conduct research, build connections, and network with other creative professionals.
- The Creative Enterprise – In the final unit, you will focus on writing your business plan, branding and marketing, budgets, and creating a portfolio. This will then be presented and evaluated.
This course will help you understand the principles of being a professional creative and serve as a stepping stone to your next creative adventure.
