On behalf of Suffolk New College, we want to welcome you to our fabulous farm at our rural campus. We aim to provide visitors of all ages with an exciting experience that is both fun and educational, from our products to our incredible technology and, of course, our animals. We also pride ourselves on maintaining sustainability within our farming facilities, reusing and recycling as many products as possible within our facilities while also operating in the most environmentally friendly ways possible.
The Farm at Suffolk Rural
- Red-poll cattle.
- Sheep flock and seasonal lambs.
- Poultry and seasonal chicks.
- Horses and equine facilities (inside and outdoors).
- Land-based engineering technology, including tractors.
- Arable crops.
- 95 acres of farmland; made up of grassland, mixed cropping, and environmental areas.

Little Farmers Birthday Parties
Does your child have an interest in farming? Are you still trying to figure out what to do for your children’s birthday? Need an activity that is fun, interesting, and stimulating for young minds? Why not book one of our little farmer’s birthday experiences? We can offer an incredible experience for your child and their friends that will introduce them to the world of farming through a variety of enjoyable hands-on experiences, including:
- Hands-on farming activities
- Meet and feed the animals
- Egg collecting
- Tractor discovery
And many more!
Our birthday parties are only available at weekends and during non-term times (Easter break, Half-terms, and Summer holidays). Prices are £150 for up to ten children with £10 per extra child. A minimum of two adults must remain on-site during the experience (you are also welcome to join in if you wish to). All visitors should wear sensible clothing and footwear during their visit.
