Your student experience

We have a huge range of sport and society clubs for you to choose from including badminton, hockey, netball, skiing, kickboxing and basketball. Find out more about our excellent facilities, the sports and activities that we offer at the impressive Suffolk New College Sports Centre.

If sport isn’t your thing, the Students’ Union (SU) also runs a range of events including: shopping trips and visits to theme parks. Can’t find a club to suit your interests? Why not start your own? Personal Development

Personal Development is all about progression!

Progression towards employment, personal growth and strong wellbeing. We aim for students to achieve their personal goals by providing experiences from outside the classroom direct from the real world.

Personal Development brings together the student’s Study Programme; using the college’s ePASS students will develop their professional and personal skills. Learners will complete 3 core units; Keeping Safe, Living in the Wider World and Careers, Money & Lifestyle. Students have the opportunity to take part in social action projects, workshops with employers and industry professionals, interview practice and much more…

Our Ipswich campus is based amidst the education quarter of the town and is close to the picturesque waterfront area. You can also take a gentle stroll into the town centre that is also only a short walk away from the College.
