At Suffolk New College, college life is about much more than your course. There are plenty of opportunities to get involved, try something new and make the most of your time here.
We offer a wide range of sports clubs and activities, including badminton, hockey, netball, skiing, kickboxing and basketball. These are supported by our impressive on-site Sports Centre, which provides excellent facilities for both recreational and competitive sport.
For those looking to take part at a more competitive level, you can join the Suffolk New College RAMS. Our teams compete in sports such as basketball, football, volleyball and even eSports, giving you the chance to represent the college and develop your skills.
There are also a variety of lunchtime and social clubs to get involved in, including board game and card clubs, as well as access to sports facilities and pitches. At Suffolk Rural, students can also make use of the outdoor gym and open spaces.

Personal Development brings together the student’s Study Programme; using the college’s ePASS students will develop their professional and personal skills.
