Employers

As a patron of the Suffolk Chamber of Commerce, we’re closely linked to Suffolk’s thriving business community, and work hard to better understand how we can support employers to develop their staff and generate growth.

Information for employers

As a College we are committed to building links with local businesses and employers. We feel it is important for employers to understand the current educational landscape, appreciate the skills and knowledge our students can offer and have access to their work force of the future.

In addition, we want to ensure that our students are work ready and offer them a range of opportunities including industry placement, employer talks, visits to workplaces, and mentoring.

Developing students who are ready for work

Being work ready is absolutely essential for our students to achieve their dream career in today’s competitive job market.

To ensure they have additional skills which will set them apart from other applicants and put them in as strong a position as possible, Suffolk New College has developed the ePASS – their route to employability.
