Want to get started in the hospitality industry? You might want to work as a chef, kitchen assistant, housekeeper, waitress or hotel receptionist. Whatever area you're interested in, we have an introductory Certificate in Hospitality to suit you.
A Certificate in Hospitality is for anyone new to hospitality work. You probably won't have any experience. You might still be at school or college.
You don't need a job or work placement to take these qualifications - but if you have one you can often learn on the job.
All students who have not achieved a grade 4 (C) or above in GCSE English or maths will need to study these subjects alongside their chosen qualification.
Prepare, cook, and present dishes for The Coast Diner lunchtime menus and buffet service.
Bake fresh bread and cakes and be a part of our The Coast Diner. Business.
Take part in fun competitions to produce your dishes.
Attend enrichment activities such as trips to Rendlesham Forest and working at the Suffolk Show.

Most Level 1 students choose to move onto study Level 2 qualifications in Professional Cookery, Hospitality services. However, this will depend on English and maths results and work experience hours attained. Students will have worked on functions and events and will have taken part in competitions and visits, which will assist them in gaining confidence in a range of interpersonal and practical skills so necessary for today’s
