    Course Overview

    This course is based at our Suffolk Rural (Otley) campus.

    Thursday; 9.30 – 16.00

    Commercial floristry involves an understanding of the requirements of the Floristry industry. This includes an understanding of flower care, design and construction techniques, and the legal requirements of the industry.

    This course is aimed at those with a keen interest in the Floristry industry and who are seeking employment in this area, either as a junior florist or a small business owner. This course will be studied at our Rural campus as a day course on Mondays.

    Additional Costs

    You will be able to purchase a floristry accessories pack from the college's online shop. This package will include sundries such as bases, wires and pins which you will need on a weekly basis. You are welcome to purchase these items externally and your tutor can provide you with a weekly list of what you will require. Your tutor will also be able to support you on where to locate these sundries.

    Flowers required for the course are to be purchased externally. We anticipate a cost of £25-£40/per week for flowers.
