Commercial floristry involves an understanding of the requirements of the Floristry industry. This includes an understanding of flower care, design and construction techniques for wedding and funeral floristry. The legal requirements of the industry and art and design are also covered.
This course is aimed at those with a keen interest in the Floristry industry and who are seeking employment in this area, either as a junior florist or a small business owner. This course will be studied at our Rural campus as a day course on Mondays. Additional Cost:
You will be able to purchase a floristry accessories pack from the college’s online shop. This package will include sundries such as bases, wires and pins which you will need every week. You are welcome to purchase these items externally and your tutor can provide you with a weekly list of what you will require. Your tutor will also be able to support you on where to locate these sundries.
