During this two-day-a-week course, you will study floristry for weddings and funerals alongside the production of commercial bouquets and arrangements.
Students study function decorating and display and will create large-scale installations at public events including the Suffolk Show .
We create planted designs and study the optimum way to care for them and cut flowers.
You will create at least two new designs each week and often many more.
Alongside you will learn the skills and knowledge required to create good design and use colour effectively.
During the course, you will create portfolios of your practical work and a portfolio of your knowledge of art and design for florists.

Students are responsible for purchasing their own sundries. Flower costs of £1200 are payable through the college webshop at £120 a month for 10 months with the first payment due on 16.9.24.
