Our courses have been designed to give learners both valuable theory and practical knowledge as they continue on their pathway to a career with the Uniformed Public Services. Taught by former members of the services, SNC aims to deliver an immersive experience that covers all aspects of the services in as much detail as possible, including visits from guest speakers and themed activities both within and outside the college.

Military, Fire services, Police, and many others will be covered over the courses duration; allowing students to gain valuable knowledge from experienced tutors and guest speakers while also experiencing events designed to reflect upon real-life situations within the aforementioned services.
For those that may instead wish to focus on a specific area of the services, a new level three Policing Diploma is now on offer to upcoming members of the college, which is designed for student’s that have a strong career interest in the Police Service. The course has links with both the local Constabulary and various Universities for those that wish to further their education within a Professional Policing degree.
“It’s so specific on different roles of the police, but they also give in aspects of the military and stuff like that to widen people’s opportunities and different paths of the career that you want to go into.”
“Generally, I do think the course is very specific. You could focus on a job in the civil services or the judiciary and still go through others on this course. That’s how helpful it is at the current moment because we don’t have limited options.”
