Course overview

The purpose of this qualification is to provide specialist knowledge, skills and understanding relating to working in the Police Service in areas such as career aspirations, leadership skills and equality, diversity and inclusion, which can be applied to current or future employment.

The Curriculum design has been co collaborated with Suffolk/ Norfolk Constabulary Training Department and key Senior Officers. The lead Lecturer is a retired Suffolk Police Officer with extensive previous experience in many aspects of Operation Policing.  Many exciting opportunities through this close partnership work have resulted in exciting Work Experience opportunities being open to our students.

The Course has also been designed to take into account other wider interests in the Criminal Justice System, with additional employers such as UK Border Force, HM Prison Service and Military Police being introduced.

A fee of £200 will be required to cover trips and expeditions expenses.
