    Course Overview

    UAL L3 Extended Diploma in Creative Practice: Art, Design & Communication (Pathway Photography)

    This course is based at our Ipswich campus.

    This qualification is awarded by the University of Arts in London. Our Photography pathway course will challenge you to explore, experience, and develop your Photography and Art and Design potential, through exciting and creative activities.

    These activities will allow you to develop your own sense of creativity and direction you wish to specialise in.

    The Art and Design qualification is assessed throughout the course and supported by a structured and enriching tutorial and PSE programme that helps you develop your employability skills.

    GCSE qualifications are available alongside the main programme where required.

    An ideal applicant has a keen interest in Photography and is energetic, committed, and enthusiastic.

    All students who have not achieved a grade 4 (C) or above in GCSE English or maths will need to study these subjects alongside their chosen qualification.

    Next Steps

    Internal progression from year 1 into year 2. On completion, students can apply to University or take up an apprenticeship/employment.

    Tuition Costs

    No tuition fees are payable for students aged 16 – 18 on 31 August 2021.

    Additional Costs

    There is a £60 trips and materials payment to cover the cost of our national programme and specialist workshop materials. This covers all black & white photographic paper and black & white film.
