    3 GCSEs at grade 3 (D) including English and/or maths, OR Level 1 qualification including English and/or maths at level 1.


    Course Overview

    This course is based at our Ipswich campus.

    The course helps you to develop your skills in acting, musical theatre, and dancing. The course is assessed entirely through coursework so there are NO EXAMS. You will be assessed for your rehearsals, research, reflection, and practical ability.

    There will be showcase events through the year in which you will get to show off your skills.

    All students who have not achieved a grade 4 (C) or above in GCSE English or maths will need to study these subjects alongside their chosen qualification.

    Next Steps

    85% of our level 2 Performing Arts students progressed to study the Level 3 Extended Diploma, while the remaining 15% went into full time employment within the Performing Arts Industry.

    Tuition Costs

    No tuition fees are payable for students aged 16 – 18 on 31 August 2021.

    Additional Costs

    There is a £40 trips payment to help towards the cost of the trips during the year.

    The course helped develop my confidence and my dance skills. There were lots of opportunities to perform and the course gave me a great insight into the Performing Arts world.
