Course overview

This qualification covers the demands of today’s vehicle accident repair industry.

It provides the essential skills and knowledge for technicians working on vehicles in vehicle body shops.

You will study both the theory and practical aspects of the subject through the completion of specialist units, including:

  • Preparing Metal
  • Pre-Painted Surfaces
  • Repairing Minor Paint Defects
  • Removing and Fitting Non-Permanently

You will also gain a broad knowledge and understanding of the health and safety requirements.

Practical activities are completed in fully-resourced workshops led by highly competent and qualified staff. Students must pass all practical and theoretical elements of the programme to achieve this nationally recognised qualification.
