Course overview

This foundation programme of study has been designed to give you a general introduction to a broad range of basic motor vehicle and accident repair skills. Practical activities are completed in fully-resourced workshops led by highly competent and qualified staff. You will also study technical units to develop skills and knowledge associated with vehicle maintenance in both mechanical and body repair aspects, to prepare you for further study in this area of work. You must pass all practical and theoretical elements of the programme to achieve this nationally recognised qualification.

The study programme will also develop personal, social, and employability skills, which include opportunities to work on community projects and explore the various career pathways within the automotive industry.
