This qualification covers the demands of today’s vehicle accident repair industry. It provides the essential skills and knowledge for technicians working on vehicles in vehicle body shops.
You will study both the theory and practical aspects of the subject through the completion of specialist units, including Preparing Metal and Pre–Painted Surfaces, Working with Plastic Materials and Components, and Applying Topcoats and Completing Refinishing Operations. You will also gain a broad knowledge and understanding of colour theory. Practical activities are completed in fully-resourced workshops led by highly competent and qualified staff.
You must pass all practical and theoretical elements of the programme to achieve this nationally recognised qualification.
