This is a T Level in Health and Medical Studies

Aims:

The course will introduce you to working in the healthcare sector. During year one, you will complete a range of core modules before commencing a second specialised year in supporting the Health and Medical Teams.

Overview:

Throughout the course, you will carry out a range of therapeutic techniques to support Health and Medical Practitioners.

Assist with the healthcare delivery process and provide advice to help individuals develop and improve their health and/or develop or maintain skills for daily living.

Prepare and maintain the therapeutic environment, equipment and resources for use.

Your core modules will also include:

  • Providing person-centred care
  • Health and well-being
  • Further science concepts such as anatomy and physiology
  • Health and Safety
  • Healthcare sector
  • Infection prevention
  • Managing personal information

The course is endorsed and designed in collaboration with ESNEFT to ensure that it meets industry needs. You will undertake a placement with ESNEFT at the hospital, engaging in real-life experiences that no other education provider has access to.
