At SNC, our study programs are designed to ensure you receive a firm grounding in all health and social care professions. You’ll discover the diversity of occupational areas and settings, including their requirements and provisions to work with people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. You will also have the opportunity to partake in a wide range of work placements, allowing you to experience multiple areas of health and social care first-hand or to focus on a specific field if you choose to do so.

At Suffolk New College, we offer a range of pathways into the Health sector, including Level 1,2,3 and T Level qualifications.
The department has long-established partnerships with local employers, which feeds into the curriculum design and enables real-industry placements for learners.
SNC is also delighted to announce that in 2023 learners and staff in the department will benefit from a new Health Science campus (which will be located beside the main Ipswich campus).
