Course overview

Aims:

Our health and social care Level 3 course is designed to develop your skills and knowledge in order to enter into the caring professions.  All learners, on successful completion of this course, will achieve a Level 3 qualification, equivalent to 3 A Levels, that will enable them to progress into employment, higher education, or further training.

Overview:

This course provides enriching modules combined with practical work to support your career goals of working within this industry. Work placements and practical assignments give you the advantage of having more experience to take forward into higher education, apprenticeships or employment. 

The courses include modules of study in Psychology, Sociology, and Anatomy and Physiology, developing Health Care Plans, Nutrition and Working with people in the care sector. This exciting course combines both work placement and studies to help develop learners’ personal and study skills.
