News overview

If you’re passionate about skincare, massage and helping people feel their best, a career in beauty therapy could be the perfect fit for you.

Whether you’re a school leaver or an adult looking for a fresh start, beauty therapy is a growing sector in the UK. With the right training and support, you can build a rewarding future in this creative and people-focused industry.

Why Choose a Career in Beauty Therapy?

Beauty therapy is all about improving wellbeing and boosting confidence. As a qualified therapist, you’ll provide treatments like facials, waxing, massage, manicures and pedicures. You’ll also offer expert advice on skincare routines and products.

You could work in salons, spas, health clubs or even on cruise ships. Many beauty therapists go on to become salon owners or independent practitioners.

According to VTCT, one of the UK’s leading awarding organisations for beauty qualifications, the industry continues to grow. There’s strong demand for skilled professionals who can deliver high-quality treatments with a personal touch.
