This study programme will enable you to develop skills in hair and beauty alongside English, maths, and work experience in local hair or beauty salons. You will additionally have weekly sessions to improve your employability skills and personal development while at college.
The study programme is unit-based and you will learn through practical assessments using our commercial hair and beauty salons, as well as assignment work for each unit delivered.
This course teaches you about the hair and beauty industries, and the importance of personal presentation, and includes how to shampoo and style women’s hair, undertake manicures and apply nail art. You will also participate in work-related enrichment using high-quality products for hair and beauty services.
