    2 GCSEs at grade 2 (E) including English and/or Mathematics

    a Level 1 qualification including English & Mathematics at level 1.

    Course Overview

    This course is based at our Ipswich campus.

    Whatever your passion is for games design, we offer you a broad practical introduction to many aspects of games production that will include:

    · 2D Design

    · Animation

    · Level Design

    · Concept Art

    · Game Engines

    The expert tutors will help guide you through the year and you will complete a series of coursework based tasks. There are no exams on this course! The final major project at the end of the year will determine your overall grade.

    You will be working towards a UAL Level 1 Award and Design in Art, Design and Media.

    All students who have not achieved a grade 4(C) or above in GCSE English or Mathematics will need to study these subjects alongside their chosen qualification.

    Tuition Costs

    No tuition fees are payable for students aged 16 – 18 on 31 August 2021.

    Additional Costs

    Throughout the course, students will have the chance to attend industry-related trips. These trips will usually incur a trip cost, to cover transport and tickets as required.
