Course overview

This course is comprised of 6 units where students will develop a range of skills and experience within esports and related industries. You will be shown a range of digital skills e.g. OBS, how to plan and organise your events with the other levels and look at strategies on how to improve gameplay. This course focuses on allowing you to develop sector-specific knowledge, technical and practical skills and a specialist skillset that is desired to move onto a level 3 course or an apprenticeship.

We are lucky to be one of the courses that use the college’s new Tech Campus where we have a games room to host gaming tournaments. We take part in the British Esports student champs league where we have the option to play different colleges and schools around the UK. We have the optionality to plan trips that are related to the course e.g. EGX
