The City & Guilds Level 2 Technical Certificate in Land & Wildlife (Conservation) offers learners a strong foundation in countryside management, habitat conservation and the wider land & wildlife industry. This qualification provides all the core practical and technical skills needed to progress into further study or gain employment in the countryside and environment sector.
Learners will gain experience across a wide range of habitats, species, tools and machinery, while developing confidence working outdoors in real industry environments. The Conservation Pathway allows learners to focus on skills relevant to careers in countryside management, estate work, habitat improvement and wildlife conservation.
This qualification is a one-year full-time programme in which learners study nine modules. These are assessed through a combination of written exams, coursework assignments and a synoptic assessment, which brings together both practical and theoretical elements completed under controlled assessment conditions.
