Description: Prepare for winter by nurturing a sense of wellbeing with transparent layers of colour and flow of paint. This taster workshop is an opportunity to spend time away from the busy world. Consider the impact of colour on how we feel and some of its associations while exploring watercolour technique.
Who for: The course is suitable for people interested in colour in art or design and its potential impact on mood and sense of wellbeing. No experience required. It can be used as a taster for future art courses, a one-off winter personal treat or to make a seasonal picture card/gift.
Delivery: The course will include painting activities supported by demonstrations, chat about colour and watercolour pigments, along with artist examples. Supported by an experienced tutor with a keen curiosity about colour and its impact in communication and wellbeing as a designer, illustrator, artist and sketchbook traveller.
