Course overview

This is an exciting and informative course with a mixture of presentations, discussions, and practical work.

You will be learning Canine CPR on the CasPeR manikins designed specifically, and you will have in your kit a facial shield to use while delivering the rescue breaths.

On the course, you will learn how to deal with a choking dog whatever the size, bandaging wounds including penetrating objects, and eye injuries. You will also learn how to improvise a muzzle and how to deal with shock amongst many other issues.

You will need to bring: Writing materials to take your course notes on the day and wear comfortable clothing.

Assessment

Your competency will be assessed via observations and oral questioning in the form of an open floor quiz. Upon successful completion of the course, you will be awarded your certificate by ProTrainings. On achievement of the course, you will receive an official ProTrainings digital certificate which is valid for three years.

Enrolment End Date: Please note that the enrolment for this course closes 3 working days before the start of the course. Unfortunately, it is not possible to process late enrolments after that point.

Refreshments will be available during the course. Refreshments and lunch will be available to purchase at the College refectories. Alternatively, you may wish to bring your refreshments and packed lunch if preferred.
