  • Suffolk New College (Ipswich)
  • Level 3 | Vocational

Course overview

This is a University Arts London (UAL) Art and Design course.

This exciting 2-year creative study programme is comprised of 6 UAL units, which cover a range of graphic design and illustration-based activities. It will enable you to explore a broad range of processes and give you a confident understanding of visual communication.

There is a strong vocational emphasis, with good industry links and it is delivered by practising artists and designers. You will use industry-standard equipment and software to develop skills in digital illustration and graphic techniques such as typography, print and layout design. Traditional skills are just as important and we emphasise this through a core drawing programme, physical sketchbooks and printmaking.

An ideal applicant is an energetic, committed, enthusiastic, and creative individual with aspirations of a career in the creative industry.
