Covid19 Update:

We are working hard to amend our provision to meet the required guidelines set by the Government. If you are currently enrolled onto a Leisure Learning course you will be contacted by a member of the team to advise whether your course can be delivered remotely or will need to be temporarily paused. If you have any questions or concerns please contact us at business@suffolk.ac.uk and one of our team members will be happy to assist.

"I am grateful for the opportunity to continue learning with remote learning in these current strange times. Whilst there are a few differences from the classroom experience I feel that the learning experience is not compromised - indeed I feel we are more focused and less likely to be distracted by other things. I feel much more comfortable being at home in the current circumstances including the fact it is winter. For example, with the heavy snow last week I would not have wanted to travel to the college but as we had remote learning we were able to continue with our class as normal. Personally, I would not be happy to rush returning to the classroom and would prefer to wait until we can mingle normally." - Chinese For Beginners

"The good news is that we still have the same imaginative teacher who works hard to make it fun as well as informative learning despite yet more staring at a screen, and you can be in the comfort of your cosy home and within reach of a kettle to make a drink! Yay!" - Chinese For Beginners

"It was amazing to be back in the classroom on Saturday with my fellow students. Great communication, support and advice about testing before my return to The College. Social distancing and face masks did not deter from the enjoyment of the day." - Willow Basketry
