This course aims to help learners and Health & Social Care professionals to develop their skills and knowledge around safeguarding children. In this unit learners will learn to understand and know how to safeguard and protect children, young people and practitioners in the workplace.
This is a 2 day course, 09:30 AM – 2:30 PM, face-to-face with online assessment to be completed.
Completion of this course comes with an accredited qualification and certificate recognised in industry.
Course content/units
Assessment will include components of practical in our state-of-the-art Health Science campus, as well as an online suite of assessments to which you will have access.
- Understand how to safeguard and protect children, young people and practitioners in the workplace.
- Know how to respond to evidence or concerns that a child or young person has been abused.
