NCFE CACHE level 4 certificate for the advanced practitioner in schools and colleges
This study programme provides the underpinning knowledge and skills needed to be effective in a range of educational settings. Units you will study include:
- Enabling individuals to learn
- Improve children’s mental health/ well-being
- Support individuals with additional needs/ disability
- Working with families/ other professionals
- Implementing change in school or college setting
This study programme is designed for those who wish to progress to become Advanced Practitioners within the education support workforce. The Advanced Practitioner will use their knowledge and understanding of the role to work independently and support newer members of staff within the organisation.
Students must have the ability to meet assessment deadlines.
On completion of the course, students will be excellently placed to move into senior teaching assistant positions, or possibly lead a team of education support workers within an organisation. Students will also be well prepared to enter higher education at the degree level.
This course can be started at any point in the academic year.
The tuition fee will be £675. This can be funded via the advanced learner loan.
