Course overview

This foundation programme of study has been designed to give you a general introduction to the basic skills needed to progress into a career within the construction industry, as a bricklayer.

You will study both the theory and practical aspects of the subject through the completion of specialist units. You also gain a broad knowledge and understanding of health and safety requirements, and other skills associated with working in the industry.

Practical activities are completed in fully-resourced workshops led by highly competent and qualified staff. You must pass all practical and theoretical elements of the programme to achieve this nationally recognised qualification.
