Bricklaying is one of the many fantastic trade-based courses offered across our college campuses. Located at Suffolk rural in Otley, each course is led by highly experienced tutors in our spacious brick workshop to ensure that students can get a completely immersive experience in their education. Our courses will prepare you to build and repair walls and chimneys, create brickwork structures, work safely and within regulations, and much more!
As well as demonstrating your new skills in the classroom or on the work site, we encourage our learners to showcase their skills at a range of regional and national competitions.
At a recent Suffolk Show our construction learners Ryan Cook and Ryan Austin gained first place in the bricklaying skills competition. The level three learners saw off competition from a College in Bury St Edmunds to scoop top honours when tasked with making a palace themed wall.
