    Course Overview

This course is based at our Ipswich campus.

This dynamic pathway will give you the tools and techniques required to pursue a career in the acting industry.

In the first year, you will learn and build experience in devising, improvisation and realistic acting theories.

You will develop your ability to research, interpret and analyse texts as well as develop your actor’s voice and physicality through relaxation.

In the second year, you will reflect on the array of techniques you have covered to develop your own personal acting process, this process will be shaped through the development of audition repertoire including both contemporary and classical material. Second-year acting students also train in screen acting. The course culminates with a final major show in which you can put all the skills you have developed to use in a professional environment.

The assessment is all coursework based so there are NO EXAMS!

All students who have not achieved a grade 4 (C) or above in GCSE English or maths will need to study these subjects alongside their chosen qualification.
