Access to Higher Education

Access to Higher Education Overview

Our Access to Higher Education courses are specifically designed for those returning to education who are looking to progress on to a university degree. This is an alternative to an A level programme and is for students over the age of 19. You will be returning to education with like-minded adults who will understand and share some of the issues you may have about starting again and together, you can support each other through this demanding but rewarding year.

Cathy

Cathy Hudson “I chose Suffolk New College because it offered the course that gave me the qualifications I needed to get into university. It also gave me the opportunity to retake my Maths. I have grown in confidence academically during the course and feel it has prepared me for going on to university study. I had some amazing tutors who supported and guided me through the course and when I had difficulties, they were there to help. Now I’m off to Anglia Ruskin University in Chelmsford to begin a Midwifery degree.
