Whether you’ve applied to our Ipswich, Leiston, Halesworth, or Rural campuses you will have the opportunity to join us for an open event. You’ll have the chance to explore our facilities, discover our course offerings, and chat with our tutors about your goals.
If you still haven’t applied, don’t worry – there’s still time!

Make sure to apply sooner than later, so that you can focus on your final year without concerns about the future.

Enrolment starts on GCSE Results Day: 20th August 2026!
During enrolment, make sure you bring all GCSE, A-Level, Functional Skills, and any other relevant certificates/results slips you have.
A form of ID like your passport, or full/provisional driving licence/birth certificate.
Please also bring with you confirmation of exam concessions from your current education provider and/or formal diagnosis letters.

Moving from school to college can be something of a culture shock. But at Suffolk New College we’ve created a supportive, social environment where you can easily get access to the help and advice you need, make new friends and get the most out of your time with us.
Yes. When you apply, we will offer you a place at the college.
The specific course you are enrolled on will depend on your grades and experience at the time of enrolment.
That’s why it’s really important to attend enrolment. At enrolment, our team will talk through your results with you and make sure you are signed up to the most suitable course for your skills, interests and future plans.
Even if your results are different from what you expected, we’ll work with you to find the best option for you.
If you didn’t get the chance to visit us during the year don’t worry! We invite all applicants to an experience day in June. Apply for your chosen course and you’ll be invited to take part in this fantastic event.
Only some courses require interviews. If you’ve applied for one that does, you’ll be contacted.
