Our well-equipped Learning Curve facilities are a great place to complete assignments, access a wide range of online or paper-based resources, and get help with work from our expert study support team. The centre offers access to PCs, netbooks, DVDs, Books, E Books, and various Journals. Our service offers Study Support Workshops to help with;

This means students can get help with finding and researching the right information for assignments, making effective notes, starting and finishing assignments, structuring and developing ideas, proofreading, revision and exam techniques and numeracy, literacy, and IT skills support.

Opening Hours

Term Time

Monday - Thursday: 8:30am - 5:00pm Friday: 8.30am - 4.30pm


We are open all year except Christmas and Bank Holidays. Opening times during holiday periods will be advertised in the Learning Curve and on the Student Intranet.

How do I join?

All students and staff may use the Learning Curve to borrow books and other resources. A valid student or staff ID card is needed and registration will take place at enrolment. ID cards are not transferable and the person to whom the card is issued will be held responsible for all items issued on that card.

Overdue Notices

We will contact you via your college email when your items are overdue.

Accessing your email

In college click on the Outlook icon on your desktop; for access from home, go to the URL shown on your student ID card, e.g., use your ID number and enter your college network login.
