Moving from school to college can be something of a culture shock. But at Suffolk New College we've created a supportive, social environment where you can easily get access to the help and advice you need, make new friends and get the most out of your time with us. Your personal tutor is there to support you throughout the year and help you set challenging but achievable goals and benchmarks. Our Student Support team are always on hand for help with issues such as student funding, financial assistance, spiritual and health matters. And you'll also have access to a wealth of careers guidance in our resource centre.

If you have dyslexia, a disability or any other individual needs, our support team can provide a range of services, including making special arrangements for exams.

The Student Support Team have also established partnerships with a range of specialist external providers. This is to ensure that a consistency of service, of student experience and a similar quality of provision exist, whether the support is delivered by the College or by an external provider.
