This taster workshop is an opportunity to spend time with colour using watercolour pigment. Designed to nurture a sense of wellbeing while you enjoy the flow of paint and combinations of colour. With options to consider the impact of colour on mood, some of its associations and origins, and develop watercolour technique.
The course will include painting activities supported by demonstrations, chat about colour and watercolour pigments, and artist examples.
The course is suitable for people interested in colour in art or design and its potential impact on mood and sense of wellbeing. It can be taken as a taster before committing to a longer course of Seasonal Colour to explore the watercolour palette. Supported by an experienced tutor with a keen curiosity about colour and its impact on communication and wellbeing as a designer, illustrator, artist and sketchbook traveller.
Just use the water-based paints, brushes and paper you already have or as suggested here. We will chat about materials during the course. Some materials will be available to try or compare with yours. We will also chat about materials during the course.
