Students from the inclusive learning department at Suffolk Rural College put their best foot forward to raise money for this years Children in Need Appeal.

Around 30 students were joined by staff at the campus based in the village of Otley as they took part in a sponsored walked around the grounds of this college in the countryside.

The effort was organised by Sarah Brunning, an inclusive lecturer at the college.

Sarah has been running events on behalf of this benevolent cause for 16 years in a row.

In terms of her reasoning for always backing the campaign, Sarah said: “I work with children and young adults so it feels really important that we should be supporting causes like this.

“It’s something that has always been close to my heart.”

“I’ll definitely be watching on Friday night,” she added. Jonathan Spink, 20, a Suffolk Rural College inclusive learning student from Saxmundham said: “It’s important to raise money for people who need it.”

Money was also raised at the colleges Ipswich campus where childcare learners took part in face painting and attending classing in their pyjamas! They raised an impressive £348.27!
