A friendly, accessible set of workshops designed to help people feel more confident using everyday digital tools. Whether you’re new to technology or just want to feel less stressed and more in control online, each session offers simple, handson learning you can use straight away.

Programme overview

These short, hands-on workshops help learners build practical digital skills they can use in everyday life.   

Designed for local residents, jobseekers, older adults, volunteers, community members and anyone who finds digital tasks confusing or overwhelming, each session focuses on clear, simple techniques that make daily activities easier and safer. No jargon – just useful skills that build confidence step by step. 

The programme covers key everyday digital skills including staying safe online, creating simple documents, making basic visual content and exploring how AI can help with everyday tasks. All workshops are relaxed, supportive and perfect for beginners or anyone wanting a gentle refresher.

Getting Started Online

Build confidence with everyday online tasks. Learn how to use smartphones, tablets and laptops, stay safe online, access important services (like NHS, banking and shopping), manage passwords and avoid scams. Perfect for anyone feeling unsure, anxious or left behind with technology.

Introductory Launch Prices (2026)

To celebrate the opening of the Stowmarket Innovation Gateway training centre, we are offering special introductory rates for the Everyday Digital Series:

  • Individual workshops: £25 per person
  • Everyday Digital Bundle (4 workshops): £80 per person
  • Community Group Booking (6 places – any mix): £120
  • Private Onsite Delivery (community organisations / charities): From £150
    Additional attendees: £20 per person (up to 12)

Introductory prices valid until December 2026 – then subject to review.

 

Cancellation

  • We require at least 10 working days’ notice for cancellations.
  • A minimum of 8 learners per workshop is required for the session to run.
