What CITB test do I need?
Operatives
This test is for people working on site, such as labourers, tradespeople, and apprentices. It covers basic health and safety rules needed for day‑to‑day site work.
Specialists
This test is for workers with specialist roles, such as scaffolding, demolition, or highway works. It includes health and safety knowledge specific to higher‑risk or specialist activities.
Managers & Professionals
This test is for supervisors, managers, and professional roles. It focuses on managing health and safety on site and understanding legal responsibilities.

Bring valid photo ID on the day (passport or photocard driving licence).Without ID, you won’t be able to sit the test.
