Qualifications for everyone: Free adult courses at Suffolk New College

News overview

Want to get a qualification? Change job? Or just learn something new? Funded by the Adult Skills Fund, we now offer a wide range of free courses for adults to help people move forward.

Learning something new isn’t just for young people, and it can often feel like it is impossible to gain a new qualification due to fees and finding time to study whilst employed.

It shouldn’t be that way.

At Suffolk New College we are now offering a wide range of free adult courses to support those who simply want to learn something new, improve their skills set, or change their job.

These new free courses are funded by the Adult Skills Fund, creating fresh opportunities for adults without the hassle of costs.

No prior qualifications? Not a problem! Our courses are designed to get any adult (19+) started.

The offering has an expansive array of courses, from Marketing and Communication to Construction Health and Safety with CSCS card and Introductory Manual Metal Arc Welding. Every course is part time, working around everyday life with less pressure.

Courses are varied, with some spanning across seven weeks, and others being delivered in a block of 4 or 8 days.

Those interested may spot multiple courses with the same title, but don’t worry this is to separate each course from the three different level offerings: entry, level 1 and level 2.

Unsure on what level to go for? Just ask and the Suffolk New College team will help guide the application process.
