Performing & Production Arts Student Performances
Performing Arts students at the College receive dance, acting and singing training, which enhances their skills. Each academic year they deliver a number of performances and we welcome members of the public to come along to support them. It is a fantastic opportunity for you to see the range of talent that our students have. Normally our performances take place in December, March, April and May. Details of our performances, once they are finalised, will be posted on this website with information on how you can book tickets. The College’s performance theatre is located at the College’s main site at Rope Walk and for evening performances free parking is available.
Forthcoming Performing Arts Shows:
“Musical Differences” by Robin French a National Theatre Connections project - 8/9/10 March 2017
In the summer of Year Ten, Alex Stokes takes the fateful step of buying an electric guitar and forming his own rock group. He teams up with a mysterious young singer by the name of Joel Lawrence. What follows could well be the most incredible saga in the school’s musical history. The band survives different line-ups, impossible love affairs and brutal school politics. By Year Thirteen, they are a tightly knit four piece, and their final gig is nothing short of remarkable – but have individual members paid too high a price?
“The Trial” Drama Production - 3/4 May 2017
“Club Tropicana” Musical - 17/18 May 2017
"Title TBC" Collaborative Project – 24/25 May 2017
"Title TBC" End of Year Performances – 8 June 2017
Music Performance Students Gigs
As well as performances that take place at the College our music students also perform gigs at a range of local venues and events, including IpArt Festival and at the Steamboat.
