Course overview

Managing Stress at Work (Intensive) – Managing Stress & Building & Resilience

Pressure affects confidence, performance and wellbeing. Unmanaged stress builds quickly.

This Intensive Level 2 course helps learners understand what stress looks like, what triggers it and how to stay centred and productive when demands increase. They explore practical coping strategies they can apply immediately in real workplace situations.

You will learn practical techniques for managing stress and staying in control during demanding periods at work or home. You will gain skills in identifying stress triggers, applying healthy coping strategies, problem solving and building resilience.

Employers benefit from staff who can manage pressure more effectively, maintain performance and stay calm during busy periods. Learners gain long-lasting resilience tools for both work and life.

A Reflective Portfolio of Evidence demonstrates how learners apply stress management and problem solving strategies in genuine scenarios.

This course is ideal for learners progressing from Level 1 or those who want to build on their existing skills in business administration or customer-facing roles.

The course is funded through the UK Government’s Adult Skills Fund (ASF).   There is no cost for eligible adult learners, 19+.
