Course overview

The study programme is made up of the following units:

  • The Online World
  • Technology Systems
  • Digital Portfolio
  • Creating Digital Graphics
  • Database Development
  • Website Development
  • Multimedia Products Development
  • Computer Networks

You will be able to achieve either a ‘pass, merit or distinction’ grade in each of the units you will study. You will be assessed using a variety of methods, such as individual, paired, and group work, where you will be required to submit assignments, conduct presentations, and complete workbooks. Functional Skills assessments are assessed via examination.

You will be expected to spend approximately 21 hours each week studying in College, which is currently spread over 3 days.
