The intensive Level 1 course is designed to help you develop practical communication, negotiation, and customer service skills. Gain the confidence to explain your views, respond to customer needs and contribute positively to workplace interactions.

Develop skills to handle everyday customer enquiries confidently and professionally. You will gain negotiation techniques, rapport building skills and the ability to manage simple issues.

The programme will include:

  • Understanding what good customer service looks like
  • Provide effective customer service in different situations
    Perform essential customer service tasks confidently
  • Recognise the impact confidence has in the workplace
  • Understand what self-esteem means
    Learn practical ways to build confidence and self-esteem

Whether you’re new to customer service or looking to strengthen your confidence and communication skills, this course will help you interact positively and professionally with customers and colleagues alike.

A Portfolio of Evidence captures learners’ realworld customer communication skills.

This course is ideal for learners progressing from Entry Level or those preparing for employment in Business administration or customer-facing roles.

The course is funded through the UK Government’s Adult Skills Fund (ASF).   There is no cost for eligible adult learners, 19+.
