Business Administration (Employer Friendly) – Working Better Together

Employer Friendly 6 Week Pathway – Fits neatly around work commitments

Ready to build stronger communication skills and work confidently as part of a team?

Every workplace relies on people who can listen well, communicate clearly and collaborate without friction. This course strengthens those essential behaviours. Learners explore how to work cooperatively, share ideas effectively, manage disagreements professionally and contribute positively to team tasks.

This blended Level 1 course is designed to strengthen the communication and teamwork skills employers value most. You will learn how to work cooperatively, support colleagues and contribute positively to day-to-day tasks. You will gain skills in active listening, team contribution, problem solving and professional interaction.

Practise how to give and receive feedback, how to check understanding, and how to adapt communication for different colleagues or situations. These skills directly support smoother teamwork, reduced tension and more productive working relationships. Employers benefit from stronger cooperation, improved morale and fewer communication challenges.

Learners demonstrate their progress by completing a Portfolio of Evidence showcasing their ability to work well with others, communicate clearly and contribute confidently to shared tasks.

This course is ideal for learners progressing from Entry Level or those preparing for employment in business administration or customer-facing roles.

The course is funded through the UK Government’s Adult Skills Fund (ASF).   There is no cost for eligible adult learners, 19+.

Duration:  2 days & 4 online sessions
