Course overview

This is a nationally recognised qualification in the installation and maintenance of air source heat pump systems. The qualification is recognised by the Micro-generation Certification Scheme (MCS) registration bodies as an acceptable qualification to join one of their respective schemes.

Entry Requirements

  • Learners should have a minimum NVQ Level 2/3 qualification in plumbing or conventional heating engineering, or a demonstrable number of years of relevant experience
  • Water Regs UK Water Regulations/Water Byelaws or equivalent

Where is the course delivered?

The course is delivered at our Ipswich Campus in our state-of-the-art Netzero Skills Centre.

How will I be assessed?

Assessments consist of a combination of practical and theory examinations.

What is the course cost?

Original course cost of £600 reduced by 50% – Our price £300!

What qualification will I achieve?

On completion of the course you will be awarded a BPEC Level 3 Award in Heat Pump Systems (non-refrigerant Circuits).
