Course overview

This programme follows Level 1 Building Services Engineering and the Plumbing Level 1 programme. It gives a more in-depth, technical picture of the plumbing industry. Topics are looked at in detail such as cold and hot water central heating.

The study programme has both theory and practical elements to it; the theory consists of 9 GOLA examinations. The practical assessments are carried out to industry standards.

This is a full-time study programme, and you are required to attend college for three days per week for a full academic year.

During the year, you will be expected to undertake work placements in the industry, as well as attend relevant trips and visits.
