Suffolk New College has donated eight keyboards to Stoke High School to help support their music provision.
Sarah Wilson from the Suffolk New College marketing team handed the £400 haul of M-Audio Axiom 25 Key MIDI controllers over to music teacher Lee Johnson this week.

The equipment will be used to support all the musical development of all students during lessons.
Lee Johnson is a careers lead at Stoke High School. Lee said: “Here at Stoke High School, we always appreciate the support from local businesses and training providers.
“Suffolk New College donated keyboards to our music department, this ensures we have enough equipment so that every student has the same opportunity to learn and develop their music.”
Jordan Hay – a music lecturer from the college – said: “The reason I think it’s so important to work within our local community, especially within music, is because young people need the opportunity to access the tools to unlock their creativity.
“Ipswich and the surrounding area is a diverse community that has so much to offer in terms of bringing cultures together in the music scene, so it’s important to us at Suffolk New College to help foster that wherever possible.”
